This will either bolster the argument for interpolation or effectively overturn the idea that the omission of the phrase reflects the earlier reading. In fact, it seems possible that the disputed phrase was first used by Mark and then brought over into Luke during the composition of the Lucan narrative.
Therefore, there is no reason to strictly assume the introduction of the term into the text by way of Lucan influence in light of the indisputable proof of its use in Mark 6: Second, in evaluating the internal evidence, there is more here than meets the eye.
